One hundred years ago


Old postcards are window in our past. The show how everything once was (if the picture isn't too much edited, yes editing pictures is a very very old business...) and if you compare them to the now, you often wonder how much or how less has changed since then.

The postcard above was photographed somewhere around 1910 and sent in 1916. The message on the backside (in short form) sounded like: I am fine, hope you are too. Come visit me when the weather is fine. So as I cam by the place about a week ago, it was the starting point for a hike, I had to try to take the same picture again.
